The Livinallongo dairy
The Livinallongo dairy is situated in the municipality
of Livinallongo, part of the Col di Lana, at the heart of Ladino in the
Belluno Dolomites, 2km from the resort of Arabba.
The dairy is a co-operative of farmers who represent an example of the
ties between age-old rural tradition and the modern tourist development
of the area.
20 quintals of milk are processed per day, rising to 35 quintals in the
winter months. Various cheeses are produced.
